April Bowlby, an American model and actress. She is known for portraying Kandi in the CBS comedy show Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby has a long history in American acting. Her most famous parts include Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva (a fantasy/legal comedy television show), and Kandi as portrayed on Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession, then films and TV programs. On CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, her first TV appearance was an episode as a background extra. Her breakout role was Kandi from Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is gaining worldwide fame for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the popular series Drop Dead Diva. In the American Web Series Titans the actress played a recurring character named Rita Farr/Elastigirl. The actress will reprise her role in a spinoff series from the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. Her big screen debut was in All Roads Lead Home. In the beginning, before deciding to pursue an acting career and directing, she took classes in French and ballet classes at Moorpark College. She studied Drama in the class of Ivana Chobbuck. She was offered a major role in the TV series (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) shortly after her Hollywood debut audition. Bowlby is well-known for her appearances on various TV shows, including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005, the show Stacked as Jasmine in 2007, and How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. Bowlby is currently playing the role of Natasha (a 12 year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The film centers around an accident which causes Natasha to lose her mother. Bowlby stars as Mia In The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film due for release in the year 2008. She is from Los Angeles. Her natural hair is red and is blue-eyed. Her relationship is not a family affair.
